We had a fantastic time getting to photograph Austin + Kathleen’s recent wedding at Chattanooga’s incomparable Hunter Museum of American Art. Here they are, in their own words!
Where did you meet your fiancé?
We both went on theMcCallie/GPS trip to France in the summer of 2006. We first spoke to each other at Monet’s house towards the beginning of the trip but didn’t start dating until our senior year of high school in 2007. We became friends on the trip and had an awesome time together.
Favorite Southern City?
We love Atlanta but are looking forward to moving back to Chatt. We also visit the Starkeys in Charleston and love it there.
Favorite part of a wedding day?
Eating cake or food/drink in general.
How would you describe your wedding day style?
Classic and elegant
What are two of your favorite qualities about each other?
Kathleen:
– He makes me laugh and is always having fun
– Smart and interesting, so we always have good conversation
Austin:
– Hilarious as all get out sometimes when you least expect it
– She’s very thoughtful and supportive of me
