1 // WHO WILL BE PHOTOGRAPHING OUR WEDDING?

All of our packages have John Bamber as the lead photographer. With over 15 years experience, you are in great hands with John. When available, I love to photograph weddings alongside him, but most of the time I'm managing the business aspects of our photography business. With two photographers, you will always get John and a very talented second photographer.

3 // WHAT TYPE OF CAMERA DO YOU USE?

We love our Canon Professional cameras and L-series lenses. We use only the highest quality professional equipment that Canon has to offer. We also bring a wide array of lighting gear and accessories. Yes, we have backup cameras -- and yes, we've had to use them! After 15 years of experience, we always come prepared for anything that the wedding day might bring.

_

4 // ARE YOU OPEN TO ANY IDEAS I MAY HAVE FOR PHOTOS?

Absolutely! We love hearing your ideas and thoughts. We send out a very detailed questionnaire before the wedding day asking your style any specific ideas for your have for your photography. Our goal is to help you enjoy and be completely present on your wedding day! We've found that communication before the wedding day helps everything flow so much better and really allows us to tell your story, not someone else's.

_

5 // ARE YOU GOING TO STICK AROUND UNTIL THE END OF THE DAY? DO YOU HAVE ANY TIME LIMITS?

Most of our packages include 6 to 12 hours of shooting time. That's a typical day. We always talk about your wedding day timeline in advance. That way, we can make time to capture what's most important to you.

_

6 // HOW MANY IMAGES DO YOU USUALLY DELIVER TO ME?

An 8-hour wedding will have 600-800 images. A 10-hour event will have 800-1000. We normally deliver about 50-100 images per hour of photography.

_

7 // WHAT KIND OF PROCESSING DO YOU PERFORM ON EACH IMAGE?

All images are color-corrected or converted to black-and-white. All of our film goes to our amazing lab, Millers. We can do further editing on individual images when we design your album.

_

8 // HOW SOON CAN I SEE THE IMAGES?

We will typically have a blog post up and ready to view within 2-3 weeks of the wedding. The full set of photos is normally delivered within 4-6 weeks of the wedding day.

_

9 // WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN FILM AND DIGITAL? WHY DOES IT MATTER?

John says: I love shooting film. It is organic and it brings me back to my roots in photography. It challenges me to be more creative. I’ve also found that film images are always a couple’s favorite. It’s hard to put your finger on why. These images just pull you in. Most of our Instagram feed (follow us here!) are film shots.

Our digital cameras are the highest quality professional equipment that Canon has to offer. We typically opt for a fixed lens which created that beautiful bokeh around our images. If you don't know what bokeh is, you're not alone. Here is a great article on bokeh!

10 // DO YOU CHARGE FOR TRAVEL?

Yes, we do. All travel is custom quoted based on your wedding day. For certain packages, we do waive travel costs.

_

11 // CAN I CUSTOMIZE ONE OF THE PACKAGES TO SUIT MY BUDGET?

We totally understand budget concerns! If you have questions about the specifics of a certain package, just let us know. We can usually work something out.
