We recently had the opportunity to photograph Luis + Margaret’s wedding at the amazing Walnut Hill Farm near Dalton, GA. What an amazing couple, and a phenomenal story. They met on the mission field in Pichelemu, Chile while both working for YWAM. Their story is an incredibly sweet one, having overcome language, cultural barriers and long distances; it was years in the making! Their wedding was an amazing event as well, with beautiful bridesmaids and handsome groomsmen, and lots of laughs. I can honestly say that I’ve never met anyone quite like Margaret’s grandfather, who (as Luis’ best man) “stood in” for his family who was unable to make the journey. You can see some of his antics in the images, with a “Shooter McGavin,” as well as some great cane-swinging on the dance floor!
