Kelly + Jeremy | engaged

I really love getting to meet my brides and grooms, getting to know them, and then bringing their personalities out with the camera. I’ve got lots of great memories from engagement sessions. This one was no exception, for three reasons:

First, Kelly + Jeremy are simply some of the most easy-going people I’ve ever met (or photographed). So nice…seriously…

The second remarkable aspect was how hot and muggy the afternoon was. One can’t tell from their reactions in the photographs, nor even from a thermometer — I think my car showed 89 degrees. Because a storm had just passed over the area, the humidity was through the roof. I had to take breaks to wipe the humidity off my lenses!

The third remarkable instance was the sunset itself. The colors were off the charts (the last two photographs weren’t super-saturated by my computer) it was literally one of the most gorgeous sunsets in recent memory!

All of that to say: I can’t wait for the wedding early this Fall! Here are some of my favorites! ~John
