Julia + Matthew | engaged

As soon as I met Matthew + Julia, I knew we were going to have a great time photographing together. These two Atlantans will be getting married in Chattanooga this fall, and I can’t wait for the celebration. First, there’s Julia, who’s kind, sweet, well-spoken, and photographs like Audrey Hepburn. Then Matthew…where do I begin? The guy seriously cracks me up – had me laughing during most of the engagement session. He’s also the first person to guess the punchline of my Panda bear joke! Just wait until he hears all (both) of my other jokes!

We met in downtown Atlanta for the shoot, and for the first time in many years of photographing people, the spontaneous dancing literally rivaled “Dancing with the Stars.” Bruno Tonioli would have watched their Charleston, jumped onto the table, and said, “that was sooo hot…”

Needless to say, my expectations for Matthew and Julia’s first dance are pretty high (no pressure!!). Here are some of my favorites from our shoot!
