I was recently in NYC for a commercial shoot, and in some of my down-time I wandered the streets, soaking up the city.
While I’m more accustomed to the piercing call of our resident red-tailed hawk, the crickets chirping, and the coyotes yapping at night, there is still something comforting about the constant hum of traffic; feet shuffling on pavement, subway trains; despite the incessant car horns. It was awesome to be able to simply pack away most of my photography gear, and walk around with just one camera, and take time to see the Big Apple in a different way!
